Miele Professional, a global leader in premium commercial appliances, has announced the launch of its ExploreLine and ExpertLine laboratory glass washers – engineered to meet the highest standards of hygiene, efficiency and sustainability.
This month (June 2025), the ExploreLine and ExpertLine will be launched and ready to cater to the full spectrum of laboratory needs: from smaller laboratories transitioning from manual to automated cleaning, to high-throughput industrial facilities demanding speed, consistency and compliance – cycle after cycle.
ExploreLine is ideal for smaller laboratories in schools, universities and medium-sized businesses, offering a smart alternative to manual cleaning. Capable of processing up to 60 items in just 24 minutes, it reduces cleaning time by an average of 59%.
Its standardised, repeatable cleaning process delivers analytically clean results every time. A flexible loading system accommodates a wide range of items safely, helping to minimise breakages while reducing water consumption by up to 63% compared to handwashing.
ExploreLine also features intuitive controls, predefined cleaning programmes and clear indicators for wash status. Its gentle wash cycles help extend glassware lifespan, preserving the value of lab equipment.
With a wide selection of accessories – including adjustable baskets, inserts and injector modules – along with ProCare lab detergents that ensure the best possible clean every time, ExploreLine can be tailored to meet specific requirements for all types of laboratory glassware.
Engineered for demanding laboratory environments, ExpertLine offers consistent, compliant cleaning and drying performance at the highest level. Designed to deliver analytically pure results, it supports the cleaning of both standard and complex glassware with exceptional efficiency.
ExpertLine features an advanced rinsing system, quadruple filtration and a variable-speed heating pump that provides thermal disinfection up to 93°C. The pump adapts water pressure as needed – delivering high pressure for stubborn residue and low pressure for even rinsing – while conserving energy and water. A crevice-free chamber prevents dirt accumulation, and integrated sensors ensure optimal spray arm rotation and wash pressure.
Drying options include the AutoOpen function and DryPlus hot air drying, allowing labs to choose the configuration that best supports their workflow.
With usability and capacity at its core, ExpertLine offers:
- High throughput: up to 128 laboratory bottles or 98 pipettes per cycle
- A 4.2” M Touch Flex colour display with multilingual support (32 languages)
- “Show-me How” on-screen guidance for maintenance and troubleshooting
- User-friendly navigation with clear symbols and text
Built for Sustainability and Connectivity
Tested for 15,000 operating hours and supported with spare parts for up to 15 years, ExpertLine is designed for longevity and reduced total cost of ownership. Short cycle times and resource-saving technologies lower water, energy and detergent consumption without compromising performance.
Through Miele MOVE Connect, ExpertLine also offers digital integration for real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, process optimisation and direct access to Miele service support – keeping operations efficient and on track.
Nadine Bellamy-Thomas, LMD Sales Manager UK and Ireland at Miele Professional, commented: “We understand the critical importance of hygiene, efficiency, and workflow reliability in industrial laboratory settings. ExpertLine delivers powerful, repeatable cleaning and drying performance while integrating seamlessly into demanding environments. With intuitive controls, fast cycle times, and robust process safeguards, it enables teams to maintain compliance and focus on driving results –cycle after cycle.”
