One of the winning images in this year's Geological Society's Earth Science Week Compeition, King's Gully was taken by Robert Mulraney.
It shows a rift canyon forming part of the King's Gully in Benbulbin, Ireland. It formed in the limestone Benbulbin Mountain by the slipping action of a large limestone buttress following glacial retreat.
