The new under-bench range compromises five Performance series models, including two models that have been designed specifically for flammable storage requirements, and three Perfection series models.

Smart, secure and reliable – designed with professionals in mind
The new under-bench series is packed with intelligent features to ensure safe storage and easy monitoring of sensitive materials. Liebherr’s SmartLock system helps protect against unauthorised access, while a built-in SafetyDevice prevents any accidental drop in temperature below +2oC – critical for preserving the integrity of temperature sensitive substances.
For added peace of mind and regulatory compliance, every appliance in the new range includes an integrated DataLogger, which continuously records alarm events, temperature history and service data for up to five years. This ensures complete traceability and simplifies documentation.
Storage reliability is also further enhanced by corrosion-resistant, coated steel shelves that ensure consistent air circulation and temperature stability. The shelves are fitted with a secure pull-out stop to prevent accidental removal or tipping – ideal for high-traffic, fast-paced environments.
Effortless monitoring and seamless integration
In today’s digital landscape, smart connectivity is essential. The new appliances are designed to integrate easily with Liebherr’s SmartMonitoring technology, a secure, Cloud-based system, that provides comprehensive monitoring and recording of measurement and operating data, alarm messages and appliance statuses, ensuring that all data is accurately logged and easily accessible for auditing purposes.
The new under-bench range is designed with usability at its core. A thoughtfully engineered interior with smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces supports fast turnaround between uses. Maintenance is further simplified as Liebherr appliances operate without filters or components requiring regular replacement, only needing regular cleaning and calibration. The easy-turn handle is coated in antimicrobial substances that reduce bacteria by up to 99.99% (according to ISO 22196:2011), eliminating the need for frequent disinfection.
Additionally, the LED lighting system provides clear visibility throughout the unit, whilst intuitive menu navigation makes operation simple for all users and the heat-resistant worktop allows the placement of lab equipment directly on the appliance – saving valuable bench space.
For the freezer units, defrosting is also unnecessary with Liebherr’s professional laboratory appliances, as any moisture that occurs is bound by the circulating air cooling. This means that demand-controlled defrosting phases expel even the smallest moisture particles from the interior – for comfortable, safe and ice-free storage.
Meeting the highest standards in safety and compliance
All Liebherr appliances built for laboratory are expertly engineered to be fully compliant and ATEX certified. Appliances within the Performance series all conform to safety standard IEC 61010-2-011. Comparatively, appliances from the Perfection series not only comply with IEC 61010-2-011 safety standard, but also DIN 13277, which specifies requirements for laboratory and medical applications.
