Sequip PAT (Process Analyitcal Technology) Sensor technology quantifies the size and population of particles in concentrated particulate systems based on optical measurement using the principle of multi-step focus. The influence of process parameters on the product can be identified in real time, fast and effectively without sampling, and can be applied to wet or dry systems. The Sensor can be fitted directly into a reactor or in a pipeline, or used in the laboratory setting. Applications include the measurement of: Crystallisation, Precipitation, Flocculation, Fermentation, Homogenisation, and Polymerisation with systems capable of sub-micron measurement and morphological classification.
