Simpler Red incorporates an inert red dye for error-free pipetting and easier reaction set up. As a recombinant enzyme, it also offers higher purity for increased performance and greater
reproducibility in polymerase chain reactions (PCR). Thermo Scientific Simpler Red DNA Polymerase is a recombinant Taq DNA polymerase expressed in E. coli. The recombinant enzyme is shown to have equivalent activity and specificity compared to native Taq, but offers higher purity and greater stability. Simpler Red is thus able to offer improved overall PCR
performance.
