SEBIA has unveiled the latest addition to its automated agarose gel electrophoresis portfolio, ASSIST, the new autosampler designed to ensure standardisation of all pre-analytical steps. ASSIST works in conjunction with SEBIA’s HYDRASYS 2 instrument and data acquisition software PHORESIS to provide full automation and positive sample identification.
Developed to address the needs of clinical diagnostic laboratories, this innovative autosampler eliminates manual pipetting with direct sampling from primary tubes. Featuring a barcode management system for positive
identification of primary sample tubes, the autosampler also provides automatic dispensing
of antisera for immunofixation. Programming the ASSIST is very easy, allowing either standard or customised sample dilutions to be performed.
