PerkinElmer has announced a new portable Raman spectrometer designed to deliver unambiguous, high quality data for use in markets requiring fast, on-site testing. The PerkinElmer Raman IdentiCheck combines the high spectral performance of a laboratory-based instrument with the convenience of a
portable, hand-held trigger probe system. “Until now, customers either faced a compromise in performance with handhelds or a delay in turnaround time by needing to use laboratorybased instruments,” said Andrew Dennis, Raman spectroscopy business leader, PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences. “This instrument expands the range of samples that can be tested remotely, increasing efficiency for our customers while continuing to provide confidence in the data.”
