Electrophoresis specialist Sebia has introduced Neurosoft: a dedicated software tool designed to complement its automated capillary electrophoresis systems in routine biochemistry
and immunology laboratories. Assisting biomedical and clinical scientists with result reporting and clinical diagnosis, Neurosoft
uses a reference database to differentiate between normal and abnormal serum protein patterns and automatically classify patient results. Analysis time is significantly reduced as over 200 results can be processed in under two minutes, and standardised results screening removes the potential subjectivity of manual curve interpretation. The expert user can accept or refuse the interpretation offered at their discretion.
