 In addition to their own range of plastic cuvettes, Elkay now offer Brand UV-cuvettes for use in the UV-VIS range (220-900nm) of spectrophotometric analysis. Brand cuvettes are made of high quality, UV-transparent plastic offering a cost effective and convenient replacement for fragile glass or quartz cuvettes. Designed for single use, they eliminate the time required and risk of cross-contamination associated with washing and re-using cuvettes. The micro cuvette has been specifically designed for photometric determination of proteins, ssDNA, dsDNA, RNA and oligonucleotides in the UV range, and is
offered with two centre heights allowing use in most common spectrophotometers without
adapter. Semi-micro and macro versions are particularly suited for determinations in water analysis, chemistry and other life science applications.
