 If you are in charge of the safety of your laboratory colleagues you know you are required to provide a suitable glove for them that ensures their safety. If you look closely at your glove supplier – you may find that you are using an exam glove that is designed to protect a patient. According to PPE Directive 89/654/EEC the employer should evaluate all the potential risks for its employees and put in place the appropriate procedures for limiting or eliminating these risks. If your users are working on bacteria/fungi/viruses etc and you therefore need a PPE glove, please contact us for help.
