Laboratory News speak to this month's Big Ask: medical physicist, Dr Heather Williams, about why in 2012 women are still underrepresented in science and engineering roles. Heather is director of a campaign called ScienceGrrl which is showcasing women doing great science in the form of a high quality calendar, the proceeds of which will go to fund various projects to encourage young women to take an interest in scientific careers.
