 T-Tubes is an advanced insulation system specifically developed for stainless steel process lines in clean environments. Manufactured from ZOTEK F, a cross-linked, closed cell foam based on Kynar PVDF, T-Tubes are said to be simple to install and possess excellent moisture, chemical and UV resistance along with low smoke, flame and toxicity properties. Kynar PVDF is well known for its excellent tolerance over a wide spectrum of chemicals including most acids, acid mixtures, weak bases, halogens, halogenated solvents, hydrocarbons, salts and oxidants. Zotefoams claims that T-Tubes, are as robust and chemically sound as the Kynar base resin. T-Tubes are reported to be generally resistant to chemicals with a pH up to 12. When tested against widely used sanitisation chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide, they exhibit neither visual damage, nor chemical absorption.
